The aim of the project was to develop a web application to track sales plans for enterprise companies globally.
The client’s company with departments located across the world receives sales plan and actual sales information in Excel documents. It needed a solution to compare planned values to the actual ones. Additionally, the client required some sort of an approval process for each area of the world. The company already uses Salesforce as a CRM tool.
WaveOC specialists created a web app with a set of Visualforce pages based on the Salesforce platform. On custom Visualforce pages, planned and actual sales values are presented through tables and charts on the dashboard. Values can be changed by responsible company’s employees.
Taking into account correlation between opportunity records values and sales plans data, we added extra logic was added to the web app. Managers and subordinates can be defined on the separate settings page.
